Incident Reports

The questions regarding changes in the filing of Incident Reports that was raised this morning has been answered by Theodora early today. Staff are expected to continue submitting Incident Reports with NO change in policy or procedure. All staff who witness an incident are required to submit a report. Any activity that meets the guidelines of HPL Policy and Procedure 2.3, 2.3.1, and 2.3.2  and occurs on any part of the library property, including the parking lot, requires reporting as an incident. If there should be a change in this policy or procedure all staff will be notified. There has been some confusion and misunderstanding and hopefully this clarifies the matter.
