Mythbuster: The "24 Hour Rule"

Myth: When a book is turned in to Circulation after maximum renewals and the customer wants it again, the customer must wait 24 hours before checking it out again.
Busted! If the customer comes in with the physical item and there are no holds, the item may be checked in and then checked out to that patron again immediately.
